Le Reavon UBR-X100 a généré des images lumineuses détaillées avec une plage dynamique impressionnante et une large gamme de couleurs. La puissance de traitement du processeur du lecteur est suffisante non seulement pour un rendu précis des mouvements sur l’écran, sans bavures ni flou, mais également pour une mise à l’échelle de haute qualité du matériel Full HD aux paramètres 4K. En conséquence, les films sur disque Blu-ray ne sont que légèrement inférieurs en qualité d’image au véritable matériel 4K Ultra HD. Donc, définitivement, le Reavon UBR-X100 est capable de donner une seconde vie à votre bibliothèque de films Blu-ray.

Sound and Vision It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a new 4K Blu-ray player. So, to have the Reavon UBR-X100 in for review, which is not only new but from an entirely new home cinema brand, is something of a double win. ‘Excited’ is only putting it mildly. The Reavon UBR-X100 is one of two launch products from the France-based home cinema company. It’s designed as a universal disc player for DVDs, Blu-rays, 4K Blu-rays, 3D Blu-rays and CDs too, but also comes with the mod-cons of USB and network playback for any photos, videos or music files you might have on your NAS or thumb drive.

This is a digital transport, which means dual HDMI outputs, coaxial and optical outputs, an Ethernet port, and two USB ports but no analogue outputs. If you want those you’ll have to look elsewhere. The X100 can handle most disc types, such as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, 2D and 3D Blu-ray, DVD and CD, although full DVD-Audio support is subject to a firmware update. Playback is flawless, and 4K discs are delivered without any unnecessary processing, while lower resolution content is expertly upscaled to ensure the optimal image.

I am thrilled to see a new pair of higher-end disc players hit the market—way to go, Reavon! While the UX100 and UX200 lack the refinement and customization options of the now-discontinued Oppos, I found their general playback features to be in line with those greatly missed players, and both provided excellent overall video performance. I look forward to the company refining both models via those promised firmware updates, but in the meantime, shiny disc enthusiasts would be hard-pressed to find better playback options than these new offerings.

From what I’ve seen, the X100 offers up some of the absolute best image quality available from players selling today and nicely fills in the void left by Oppo’s UDP-203 at its asking price. The overall feature-set and performance offered is very close to the UDP-203, making the X100 a great foundation for any high-performance home theater system.

The Reavon UBR-X200 is a very well-built Blu-ray player that supports virtually all current video and disc formats. It can also be easily made zone-free. The player impresses with excellent picture and sound quality, and also has plenty of advanced adjustment options that can be tailored to your specific setup. The Reavon player is in a high price range, but if you are sitting on a large and varied film collection and a lavish high-performance screen or projector, it may actually be worth the money.

Choice Enter Reavon, a brand that none of us had heard of this time last year. Reavon is a spin off from French company Archisoft, which is also behind the media players sold under the Zappiti brand. It’s seen an opening in the market and taken a punt, producing two UHD Blu-ray machines.

Avec le lecteur Reavon UBR-X200, le fabricant français pourrait bien relancer l’intérêt des home-cinéphiles pour les supports physiques. L’image affichée est toujours fluide, nette et détaillée à la perfection. On est bien loin du rendu des plateformes de streaming les plus populaires. Le système d’upscaling est très convaincant et adopte le juste milieu pour sublimer les films, sans jamais en faire trop.

Je suis ravi d’avoir pu tester ce lecteur, le dernier né des lecteurs UHD haut de gamme. Ravi car il s’agit d’un secteur délaissé et il est bon de constater que nous, fans de films sur support physique, ne sommes pas abandonnés. Ravi car la tentation pouvait être grande de sortir un lecteur sans prétention sur ce marché pauvre en concurrence et ça n’est pas le cas ici. Le prix affiché le place sur le créneau des lecteurs haut de gamme. Les performances relevées le place aussi sur le créneau des lecteurs haut de gamme. Que ce soit la qualité de la finition, mais mieux encore la qualité de la vidéo ou des prestations audio, nous avons à faire à un lecteur qui mérite de trôner au cœur d’une belle installation Home Cinéma.

Mejor reproductor de Blu-ray: Reavon UBR-X200
Desde que Oppo retiró del mercado sus conocidos reproductores Blu-Ray los aficionados al formato físico hemos tenido una especie de vacío difícil de llenar. Si bien es cierto que Panasonic tiene reproductores de mucha calidad, seguíamos echando de menos las completas funcionalidades de los reconocidos reproductores de Oppo. Por suerte, algunos fabricantes no quieren dar por muerto el formato físico todavía. Entre ellos está Reavon, una empresa que tiene en el mercado alguno de los reproductores Blu-Ray de gama alta más interesantes que hemos visto. Su tope de gama es el Reavon UBR-X200, un magnífico reproductor Blu-Ray 4K UHD que tuvimos oportunidad de probar en AVPasión y que nos dejó encantados. El Reavon UBR-X200 es un reproductor de gama alta, tanto en diseño como en materiales y características técnicas. Ofrece una excelente calidad de imagen, una muy buena compatibilidad con formatos de audio y vídeo, doble salida HDMI, una completa conectividad analógica, una excelente calidad de sonido, reproducción del formato SACD e incluso un buen sistema de escalado de imagen. En definitiva un reproductor que, aún no siendo perfecto, es realmente interesante. Por todo lo comentado y mucho más, el premio a mejor reproductor de Blu-ray de 2022 de AVPasión se lo lleva el Reavon UBR-X200.
